1962 New York Yankees World Series Champions full team photo vintage pennant. The 1962 World Series was contested between the National Leagues San Francisco Giants and the American Leagues New York Yankees.

The Yankees went on to win the series in 7 games to win their 20th championship in franchise history. It is best remembered for it's dramatic conclusion in game 7. With runners on second and third with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th inning, the Giants Willie McCovey hit a hard line drive that was caught by Yankees second baseman Bobby Richardson to preserve the World Series victory New York. Yankees pitcher Ralph Terry was named World Series MVP. Edges and corners are in excellent condition. Photo remains in excellent condition. Image and text paint remain intact with minimal cracking.
